01
Context
Airalo is an eSIM store based in Singapore. Travellers buy a data plan for their destination in the app, install it in minutes and are online as soon as they land, without a local SIM card or roaming costs.
A paid ad, not a concept. Airalo wanted viewers to try it on their next trip, with a code for their first eSIM. The spot had to feel as easy as the product and answer the questions people have about eSIMs before they lose interest.

Key design moments
Moment 01
Shot where the problem happens
No studio: the ad is filmed at the airport, where roaming panic actually starts. The questions people really ask, like “Unlimited?” or “So I don't need a physical SIM card at the airport?”, became the script.
Moment 02
The app, inside the shot
The app's interface sits right inside the footage, next to the people using it, so picking a plan and getting online reads as one clean line from landing to connected. The QR code stays on screen the whole way through.
04
Impact
An ad like this only works if people don't skip it. Answering real questions on camera, with the code always in view, lets it sell without feeling like an interruption.
05
Reflections
The best lines in the script weren't claims. They were the doubts people said out loud on camera.
